Alamy scales up its news ambitions

Alamy is formalising its efforts in news, sport and entertainment with the announcement that it is seeking an industry heavyweight to develop a worldwide news division.

James West, CEO, said: "We are a major supplier of stock photos to newspapers and magazines. We represent a very large and diverse photographer community. This new role will be joining the dots to create the next generation of visual news services".
