May was better again with an increase of 13% compared to April, and a 42% increase compared to May 2011. It was the best month ever for Featurepics, DepositPhotos, Pixmac, and Photospin.

The statistic is more to encourage newbies. To show that there are up and downs. To help with the decision of which agency to start uploading, and to compare trends.
Depending on your type of images, once your portfolio reaches a good size, then your trends maybe very similar.
