Stock Performer Major Upgrade Launch

Berlin, 6th of July - After one year of work and a rewrite of almost every component of Stock Performer, we are proud to announce that a large set of new and exciting features will be available to our customers on the 26th of July.

After 4 years serving the most successful stock artists in the business, such as Andres Rodriguez, Monkey Business, Uberstock, Wavebreak, Pixdeluxe and many others, as well as agencies like Stocksy and Westend61, we have created a new version based on their very valuable feedback.

With this new version, Stock Performer will continue to be the tool of choice of today's most successful producers and we pride ourselves in making such useful technology available to any aspiring artist, both small and large, helping our customers make money in the competitive stock media market.

This upgrade's major new features include:

Image Recognition Technology: Stock Performer now uses accurate image recognition technology to automatically identify and aggregate files across any agencies you upload to. Stock Performer will know where you uploaded your files and how much the file made in total. All Stock Performer reports have been adapted to reflect your file's revenue independently from the agency on which it was made.

New Collection Management: Collections are now genuinely cross agency. Create them once and Stock Performer will use image recognition to pull sales data from all agencies. On top of that we have added many new collection management tools such as merging, copying and adding to multiple collections at once.

Redesigned Reports: Each report has been reviewed to best present the new cross agency sales data as well as offering new analysis options and features. Get a bird's eye view or drill down easily into the points which are important to you.

The collection includes 10,000 free video clips, all formatted in 4K or Full HD

NEW YORK, Jan. 20th, 2015. Pond5, the world’s leading online marketplace for royalty-free video footage, announced today the launch of the Pond5 Public Domain Project, the first library of free public domain content designed specifically for media makers. The initial collection includes 10,000 video clips, 65,000 photos, thousands of sound recordings, and hundreds of 3D models.

“For years, all of this amazing public domain content has been locked up and inaccessible to the average media maker,” said Pond5 cofounder and CEO Tom Bennett. “They deserve better. Our Public Domain Project empowers media makers to take advantage of this incredibly rich library that’s rightfully theirs.”

The collection includes 5,000 never-before-seen video clips, digitized directly from the National Archives outside of Washington D.C. Other video highlights include George MeliĆ©s’ 1902 film A Trip to the Moon, along with footage from the 1952 Helsinki Olympic games, the World Wars, NASA rocket launches, and the International Space Station. Speeches from historical figures like Winston Churchill and John F. Kennedy can be heard in the collection’s recordings, along with full performances from composers like Beethoven and Chopin.

Designed especially for media creators, the library’s enriched, standardized metadata allows users to easily search for content via aesthetic and technical qualities. In addition, footage sequences have been broken down into individual shots, saving video editors countless hours of work. Everything is instantly shareable and embeddable in social media and throughout the Web.

Based in New York, with offices in Geneva, Switzerland and Prague, Czech Republic, Pond5 recently raised $61 million from Accel Partners and Stripes Group. It currently employs a global team of over 80 people.

  • Renowned investors have invested $6.6 million

Sydney, Australia — 10/15/14 —Australian startup Canva today announced the launch of the Canva app for iPad. The app brings together a simple drag-and-drop design interface with a library of more than one million photographs, graphics and fonts, and it makes creating graphics fast and easy.

“Canva makes graphic design amazingly simple for everyone, allowing any idea to be beautifully presented in print or online,” said Canva CEO Melanie Perkins. “We are excited to extend this experience and now allow people to design at home, in the office or on the go.”

“In the past year since our launch we have been overwhelmed by the many ways people are using Canva every day. Our new app brings everything people love about Canva to the iPad.”

Canva’s iPad app is free to download and provides access to Canva’s library of millions of stock photographs, illustrations and layouts. Users can upload photos from their device or Facebook account, or pay per premium element when they publish their design.

Canva also provides professional designers with a faster way to create layouts and collaborate with clients, removing the need for frustrating back-and-forth email exchanges. The iPad app makes it especially easy to collaborate on the go.

Canva has been backed by investors including Facebook Director of Engineering and co-founder of Google Maps Lars Rasmussen, Yahoo! CFO Ken Goldman, and funds including Matrix Partners, InterWest Partners, and 500 Startups.

Former Apple chief evangelist Guy Kawasaki, who recently resurrected this title when he began to work for Canva said, “Canva realizes the creative potential of the iPad. The app is beautiful and it’s intuitive, just like the iPad. It allows everyone to create beautiful designs for work and play.”

Canva will be available in the app store starting from today. Find out more at http://about.canva.com/ipad
